Our mammography program is certified by the FDA and ACR. We perform both diagnostic and screening mammograms, needle localizations and cyst aspirations.

Diagnostic studies are performed when there are indications of a problem and must be ordered by your physician.

Screening mammograms are performed on a regular basis for early detection of breast cancer. A physician’s order is not needed to schedule a screening mammogram.

Mammogram results will be sent to the patient and to her physician.

Bone Densitometry

A bone density scan measures your bone mass.  It can help determine if you are at risk for osteoporosis and fracture.

The bone density scan is often recommended for women age 50 and over who are post- menopausal and have other risk factors for osteoporosis.

It is a simple, painless test that takes less than 20 minutes. A report will be sent to your physician giving an indication of your risk for bone fractures.
