Physical Therapy

A physical therapist will evaluate the patient's physical impairments and ability to function due to lack of strength, mobility and balance, as well as pain. The therapist then establishes goals with the patient to restore a more functional lifestyle.

The therapist works one-on-one with patients throughout the course of treatment, monitoring progress and adjusting therapy as needed to meet established goals.

Exercises and therapies will be closely monitored and a home exercise program may be prescribed to reinforce treatment. Patients are educated in techniques to prevent recurring injury and maintaining their renewed mobility.
